Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. Washington Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Information from the website or a linked third-party tool may not be used for decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. A regulated check must come from an authorized official process or a suitable FCRA-compliant provider.
Accuracy of Information
Washington agencies and courts may revise addresses, hours, fees, forms, and request procedures. Their record systems also change as new events are reported. Although the material is maintained with care, no detail is guaranteed to be complete or current. Confirm instructions with the responsible office before visiting a counter, mailing a form, or paying a fee.
An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest does not establish guilt. Prosecutors may decline or change a charge, a court may dismiss it, and a case may end in the accused person's favor. A Washington court may later vacate or seal an eligible matter, and agencies may correct inaccurate entries. An old booking or report can therefore present an incomplete legal status. Verify the final disposition with the court of record and confirm compiled state history with Washington State Patrol.
A record is a starting point, not a verdict. Its government custodian must confirm the current content and whether Washington law permits release.
Verify With the Official Source
No website content is an official record. Confirm a court date or warrant with the court and responsible law-enforcement agency. Check state custody through the Washington State Department of Corrections. Verify public registry information through WASOR and the registering county sheriff. Washington State Patrol can address the statewide criminal-history compilation. Only the issuing court or agency can provide an official or certified copy.
Not Legal Advice
General information about Washington records is not legal advice. It cannot replace counsel from a Washington-licensed attorney, especially when a question involves a pending charge, warrant, vacation request, sealing motion, or deletion of nonconviction data.
Third-Party Search Tools
Outside companies operate search boxes on some pages. They control their prices, privacy practices, and results. A result can be incomplete, stale, or associated with the wrong person. The same FCRA restrictions stated above apply to every linked tool.
Outbound Links
Links may lead to Washington agencies, court portals, county sheriffs and clerks, registry services, and other resources. Washington Criminal History does not control or guarantee an external site's accuracy, content, security, or availability.
No Records on This Site
Washington Criminal History does not host criminal records, arrest reports, jail rosters, warrant lists, rap sheets, or registry profiles. Statewide reference material identifies the appropriate Washington system, while the county directory routes local requests. The issuing government office must supply the actual record.
